Oakland Mills Middle Hosts Empty Bowls

Grassroots benefit raises funds for crisis services and shelter

Admission included a bowl of pasta salad and a handmade ceramic bowl or ceramic pendant to take home. All of the proceeds from the event went to Grassroots, Howard County’s only 24-hour crisis center and homeless shelter.
