One Burned In Columbia Fire: HoCo Fire And Rescue

BREAKING: Firefighters were at the scene after 3 p.m. in the Town Center area.

COLUMBIA, MD — One person was burned in a fire in Columbia Friday afternoon, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

After 3 p.m., officials said that firefighters were in the 10400 block of Swift Stream Place, where there had been a fire on the stove.

The sprinklers put out the fire, authorities reported. One person suffered a minor burn in the incident, according to emergency personnel.
