Lavenia has performed locally at Blues Alley, Bohemian Caverns and the Kennedy Center Concert Hall as well as nationally and featured as a soloist at the 40th Anniversary of the MLK Jr. March on Washington. Many of you may know of Lavenia from the “JAZZ IN THE MILLS” concert series, which she sponsors together with the Oakland Mills Community Association.
