A crash on I-95 south jammed traffic Monday morning in Howard County.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A crash on Interstate 95 south snarled traffic Monday morning in Howard County.

A pedestrian died in the collision, ABC 2 News reported.

The crash involved a single vehicle and was reported at approximately 12:45 a.m., transportation officials said. As of 5:30 a.m., two right lanes were closed on I-95 south before the exit for MD 100.

By 6:10 a.m., the Maryland State Highway Administration reported that all lanes had reopened.

As of 7:30 a.m., traffic was still traveling below speed in the area, at 38 mph on I-95 south near MD 100.
