Pedestrian Killed On I-95 In Howard County: Police
A deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Interstate 95 near the Maryland Welcome Center is under investigation: Maryland State Police.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A pedestrian was killed in a crash with a tractor-trailer Sunday in Howard County, according to authorities. The fatal collision occurred on Interstate 95 in the area of the Maryland Welcome Center and Rest Area.
A tractor-trailer hit a man when he walked onto the highway for unknown reasons at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, June 23, police said.
The tractor-trailer was going south on I-95 at the time, according to officials.

The victim has not yet been identified, Maryland State Police reported.
Several agencies responded to the scene, police said: the Waterloo barrack, Howard County fire and rescue personnel, Coordinated Highways Action Response Team, Maryland State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, state crash team investigators and Maryland State Police Forensics Investigators.
