Police Charge Columbia Man Identified As 'Peeping Tom'
The Howard County Police Department has identified a Columbia man as the person observed peering into people's windows.
COLUMBIA, MD — A man believed to be a "peeping Tom" has been charged with indecent exposure, trespassing, peeping tom and visual surveillance with prurient intent. Howard County police officers say Brandon Ahmad Hammond, 38, of Hickory Ridge Road in Columbia exposed himself outside a woman's residence in the 10300 block of College Square April 18.
The woman informed police that the suspect returned April 27 and looked into her residence again, according to a police report. On May 3, police observed a suspect looking into residences in the 10300 block of Hickory Ridge Road, adjacent to College Square. Police arrested the suspect, later identified as Hammond, and connected him to the April incidents.
