After Fender Bender, Driver Hits Man Trying to Swap Info: Police

Have you seen a black sedan with right rear fender damage? Howard County police allege a vehicle backed into a person, left scene.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – Authorities are asking for help identifying the sedan and driver they say were involved in a hit-and-run crash that followed a fender bender, and they're offering a $500 reward.

Police said that two vehicles collided on US 1 at Corridor Road in the Savage area at approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3.

Both vehicles pulled over onto the shoulder of the US 1 ramp toward eastbound MD 32. When one driver—a 47-year-old man—got out of his car and approached the other vehicle to exchange information, the sedan suddenly reversed, hit the man and took off, according to police.
