Power Outages Cancel Activities At Some HoCo Schools Monday

BREAKING: The power outage resulted in cancellation of after-school activities, with the exception of athletic practices.

COLUMBIA, MD — Power outages in the area have canceled after-school activities at some Howard County schools on Monday, Nov. 6. Students at Howard and Long Reach high schools were among those impacted.

At Howard, students were dismissed at 2 p.m. After-school activities, except for athletic practices, were canceled for Monday, Nov. 6.

At Long Reach High School, students were dismissed at 2:05 p.m. following the outage. All after school activities, with the exception of outdoor athletic practices, were also canceled for Monday, Nov. 6.
