The school year will soon be coming to a close, and so it is time for middle school students from Howard County to celebrate with a party at Columbia Association’s (CA) Supreme Sports Club.
The Ultimate Middle School Supreme Sports Club Takeover is being held on Friday, June 13, from 7 to 11 p.m. at 7080 Deepage Drive in east Columbia. Rising fifth graders are also welcome.
Students can enjoy basketball, rock climbing, roller skating, racquetball, Nintendo Wii iDance and more. Pizza and beverages will be included. The cost is just $5 for everyone. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, June 11; no payment will be allowed at the door on the night of the event. Parents/guardians should register their kids by coming to the Youth and Teen Center at The Barn, which is located at 5853 Robert Oliver Place in the Oakland Mills Village Center.

This event is presented by CA’s Middle School Advisory Committee, which develops and implements youth-driven activities and events for their peers in Columbia. The committee, which is sponsored by CA’s Youth and Teen Center, serves the pre-teen and teen community and helps middle schoolers gain friends, self confidence and leadership experience.
