Reservoir HS Lockdown Prompted By Smoke Smell: Officials
BREAKING: The high school in Howard County went into a modified lockdown on Friday, according to administrators.

FULTON, MD - A mechanical issue at Reservoir High School led to a brief modified lockdown on Friday, Sept. 8, school officials said. The smell of smoke in a third-floor classroom prompted the measure, which occurred around 1:50 p.m.
The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services as well as Howard County Public School System building personnel responded to the school in the 11500 block of Scaggsville Road. After looking at the air conditioner in the classroom, officials said they determined there was a mechanical malfunction.
Students were safe and the issue was a minor one, according to a statement from Reservoir High School personnel.
