Columbia Lakefront Robbery Reported
Two juveniles were charged in a robbery that occurred on a pedestrian bridge in Columbia, police said.

COLUMBIA, MD — Two juveniles were charged with robbery this week in connection with an incident by the Columbia lakefront, according to the Howard County Police Department.
Police said a 16-year-old boy was walking on the pedestrian bridge in the area of US 29 at the Columbia lakefront at 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday when two teens assaulted him and stole his cell phone.
Nobody was seriously injured in the incident.

Police identified two 15-year-old boys as the suspects and arrested them, charging them with robbery.
