Robbery With Scissors In Columbia Leads To Charges: Police
Police said that a 25-year-old has been charged in the armed robbery of a business on Dobbin Road.

COLUMBIA, MD — A man has been charged in the armed robbery of a T-Mobile store in Columbia that happened over the summer, according to police. Authorities allege he threatened an employee with scissors so he could steal a phone.
The robbery happened at the T-Mobile in the 6300 block of Dobbin Road.
Police said that a man came into the electronics store, cut the security cord tethering merchandise in place and took the phone.

When an employee confronted him about it, police said he threatened her with scissors and left.
Nobody was injured in the robbery.

Through investigation, officials said they identified the suspect as a 25-year-old Jessup man.
Ishmere Terrell Garrett, 25, of the 10300 block of Guilford Road in Jessup, has been charged with armed robbery; robbery; first and second-degree assault; and theft from $100 to $1,500.
Garrett was arrested on Nov. 3 and is being held without bail.
