Saturday Math Academy Registration Opens Jan. 7 For HCPSS Students
Registration for the Black Student Achievement Program Saturday Math Academy will start Jan. 7 and remain open until capacity is reached.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Registration for the Howard County Public School System Black Student Achievement Program Saturday Math Academy will take place online Jan. 7 starting at 9 a.m. until all spots are filled.
This in-person enrichment program for Howard County Public School System students in all levels of math for grades 3 through 12 based on course availability has been in existence since 1992. The program was developed in response to parents’ seeking math enrichment for their students.
Sessions will take place online Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on the following dates:

Program Fee: $80.00
Students qualified for FARMs fee: $40.00

Students will participate in math instruction as well as enrichments including chess, coding, STEM or choir.

Families who register their child(ren) for the program in HCPSS Connect are requesting enrollment. Notification will be emailed to families whose request was accepted, school officials noted. Acceptance in the program will be based on a first-come first-served basis and available space in the specified class.
