COLA supports that objective through exciting opportunities to celebrate its successes, engage in professional development and community reinforcing activities, as well as give back efforts. While there is currently a need for 14,000 new lab professionals annually, lab science programs produce on average only 5,000 per year. COLA wants to continue to be involved and contribute to increasing awareness about a profession in medical laboratory sciences through the GiveBack365 Scholarship Program.
