Sewer Project In Kings Contrivance Planned
Residents in the Columbia neighborhood will be alerted if their water service will be disrupted, county officials say.

From Howard County: A Howard County construction project to rehabilitate a portion of the public sewer along Kindler Road in the Kings Contrivance village of Columbia is expected to begin on or about Wednesday, March 21. Public sanitary sewers will be cleaned and inspected in Phase I of the project, and later relined using cured-in-place pipe lining during Phase II. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late June.
Disruptions to nearby residential water service are expected during Phase II. Residents will be notified by the contractor at least 48 hours prior to any disruption. The project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic in the area; however, signs will be posted at the project site to advise motorists of the construction.
