Charges came after gunfire was reported in the 11300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, and police found an 18-year-old victim about 1 mile away, according to police.
Responding officers found the victim, who had been shot in the shoulder, in the 10600 block of High Beam Court, police said. The teen, who lives on Cordage Walk in Columbia, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to officials.

By Friday evening, authorities reported the victim had been treated and released from the hospital.
Upon investigation, authorities said they identified De'shazo as a suspect and found her walking in the 10800 block of Hickory Ridge Road. Officials allege she had suspected crack cocaine and a handgun on her when she was arrested.
"Detectives believe that the suspect and the victim, who know each other, were involved in a drug-related dispute inside a vehicle just prior to the shooting," the Howard County Police Department said in a statement. "The investigation is ongoing."
De’shazo is being held without bail at the Howard County Detention Center.
