Silver Alert Canceled; Columbia Man Found: Police
Police said a man who disappeared Tuesday in Columbia was found Wednesday.

COLUMBIA, MD — Police said a man who went missing from his home in Columbia Tuesday, triggering a silver alert, was located Wednesday.
Raymond Earl Forney, 76, was safe when he was found in a neighboring jurisdiction, Howard County police reported around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Raymond Earl Forney, 76, was last seen at his residence in the 6500 block of Quilting Way around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.
When a family member found he was not at home, the relative contacted authorities. Police believe Forney is driving a silver 2018 Subaru Forester with temporary tag T0181096.

Although officers have been searching for Forney around the Owen Brown Village Center and the Dobbin Center — areas he knows near his home — they said they have been unable to locate him as of 8:20 p.m.
Forney is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 180 pounds with white hair and blue eyes.
