Silver Alert Lifted for Missing Columbia Man: Police
The silver alert for missing 78-year-old has been canceled, Howard County police report.

UPDATE (9 a.m.)—The silver alert has been canceled for a missing Columbia man.
The Howard County Police Department reported Wednesday morning that the 78-year-old was found "in good condition."
COLUMBIA, MD — Authorities are asking for help finding a missing 78-year-old Columbia man who needs medication and does not have it with him.

Thomas Acheson Black Sr., 78, spoke with a family member on Monday night, and they had plans to meet the following evening.
However, when the relative arrived at his home in the 6200 block of Bird Race on Tuesday night as planned, Black was nowhere to be found.

Authorities say they are concerned about Black's welfare due to age-related medical issues, particularly since he did not take his medications with him.
Black is said to be driving a 1999 white Pontiac Grand AM with Maryland tag HCG626.
He is described as a blue-eyed man with no hair who stands 5'9" tall and weighs 180 pounds.
Anyone with information about Thomas Black is asked to call 911.
