At Slayton House Theatre Camp of the Arts, our goal is to introduce theatre skills to all levels of students.

Compensation: hourly pay based upon experience

This service is designed for working parents who need to pick-up their children after the normal camp hours. Extended camp is staffed separately from the regular camp staff by experienced child care personnel. Volunteer aides are not utilized as staff -in- training in Extended Care. This extended camp is a structured playtime atmosphere. Campers are provided an afternoon snack if they sign up for this
service.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for after camp care of campers who have signed up for the program.
- Responsible for snack and drink distribution; maintaining order at all times; games and other activities.
- Responsible for checking out students when parents arrive to pick uptheir children. Parents are required to sign the check-out sheet. Make appropriate notification of fees owed by using forms designated by the camp manager
- Responsible for closing Slayton House at specified hours utilizing proper closing procedures.
- Responsible for proper cleanup of studio and main room using dry mopand spot cleaning in preparation for evening classes in Slayton House.
At all times, the safety of the campers is the primary concern and proper guidelines should be established by the Camp Manager for the After Program before the beginning of each session.
General Information:
Camp begins June 26 and ends August 11th.
Session I: 4:00PM-6:30PM. Show Dates July 13th and 14th extra hours may be required
Sessions II: 3:30PM-6:30PM. Show Dates July 27st and 28nd 3:30-7:00PM
Session III: 3:30PM-6:30PM. Show Dates August 10th and 11th 3:30PM-7:00PM
Pre-camp training/orientation will be held on or around June 10th
To be considered for interview must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license. Please email resume/cover letter. Only qualified candidates will be contacted for interviews.
