Snow Blowers Stolen: Columbia Crime

Street robbery on Harpers Farm Road, residential burglary on Little Patuxent Parkway and other crimes were reported recently, police said.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in Columbia.

Snow blowers were stolen from the Berkshire Apartments in the 5200 block of Brook Way. The commercial burglary was reported at 11:19 a.m. on Nov. 25. The snow blowers had been inside a storage shed when they were removed.

A street robbery was reported in the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road. Three teenage boys approached a man and his friend around 5:37 p.m. on Nov. 24. One of the suspects showed a handgun, threatened the victims and took cash from one of them. Nobody was injured in the robbery.

A 2001 black Lincoln Town Car was stolen from the 9600 block of Lambeth Court, reported at 2:19 a.m. on Nov. 24.

A witness reportedly saw someone inside a friend's apartment in the 8900 block of Skyrock Court. Police received the call at 8:10 p.m. on Nov. 23. Nothing was found to have been stolen.

A residence was burglarized in the 11300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway between Nov. 23 to 26. Nothing was reported missing.
