Students Can Pick Up School Supplies Friday From HCPSS

School supplies will be distributed at all 14 HCPSS meal distribution sites on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Bright Minds Foundation has teamed up with the Howard County Public School System to provide school supplies to students who do not have needed materials at home. The packs include a single subject notebook, pencils and/or pens, crayons or colored pencils, pencil sharpener, eraser and highlighter.

School supplies will be distributed at all 14 HCPSS meal distribution sites on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A student or parent/guardian may pick up supplies for their family. As availability allows, one or two school supply packs will be provided to each family depending on the number of students.

HCPSS also is accepting donations of new school supplies. Those who wish to to donate should email partnerships@hcpss.org. Individuals, families and organizations may donate to the Bright Minds Foundation Access to Learning Fund to help provide access and resources for students.
