Suspected Pot Dealer Charged After Neighbors Complain: Police
Police said up to $12,500 worth of marijuana was found in a man's Columbia home after neighbors reported seeing drug dealing activity there.

COLUMBIA, MD — Authorities say a Columbia man is facing drug charges after neighbors filed complaints with the Howard County Police Department about suspicious activity at his home.
Mitchell Adam Gampel, 27, of the 10000 block of Westeigh Drive, is charged with drug possession and intent to distribute as well as paraphernalia possession.
Neighbors began filing reports in March that they suspected Gampel was selling drugs out of his Wesleigh Drive home, police said.

After investigating, officials reported they executed a search warrant on July 18 and found several pounds of marijuana, with an estimated value between $7,500 and $12,500; scales; hundreds of plastic bags; more than $4,000 in cash; scales; and packaging materials.
According to police, Gampel was released from the Howard County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
