Suspicious Odor Clears Out Oakland Mills HS: Officials
BREAKING: Authorities said the fire department has provided the all-clear Oakland Mills High School.
COLUMBIA, MD — Oakland Mills High School was evacuated Tuesday morning due to a suspected gas odor, according to school officials.
At 7:40 a.m., officials said the fire alarm was pulled at the school in the 9400 block of Kilimanjaro Road due to what seemed to be a gas smell near the gym and piano lab.
Fire department personnel arrived and after they gave the all-clear, students and staff returned to the building at 7:55 a.m., school authorities reported.

Members of building services were on-site, and classes were proceeding as usual.
