Teen Charged in Gun Incident at Long Reach Homecoming: Police
A boy with a toy gun was apprehended outside of the Long Reach High School homecoming dance, Howard County police said.

COLUMBIA, MD — A teen was charged after he allegedly brought an airsoft gun to Long Reach High School Saturday night, according to police. The 15-year-old boy was not a student at the school, the Howard County Police Department said.
Administrators and security personnel noticed the boy, who was wearing a mask and holding what appeared to be a weapon, standing at the end of the parking lot near Dobbin Road, according to Long Reach Principal Joshua Wasilewski, in a note to families.
Police immediately responded, found the teen had a toy weapon and apprehended the teen without incident.
