Teens Assault, Rob Friend + Thieves Steal Tires Off Car + Bike Shop Burglarized: Report
A teen reported being assaulted and robbed by an acquaintance while a man witnessed the tires being stolen off his vehicle, police say.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Two teenagers have been arrested after police say they assaulted a friend and stole money from him.
The incident happened May 14 around 4:50 p.m. in the 10400 block of Twin Rivers Road in Columbia. A teenage boy told police he was approached by a friend and another teen who assaulted him and stole his money before running off. Police were able to track down the two teens. The boys age 15 and 16 have been charged with robbery, according to the police department.
In a separate incident May 15 around 4:50 a.m. in the 7500 block of Murray Hill Road in Columbia, a man told police he confronted several other men in a group who were stealing the tires off his vehicle. One of the suspects threatened the man then the group ran off with his tires. No one was injured, police reported.

In the overnight hours May 13-14, a suspect(s) broke the front glass door of Patapsco Bicycles located in the 11700 block of East Market Place in Fulton and stole a bicycle, police reported.
