Three People Rescued from Flood: HoCo Emergency Personnel

People were trapped in vehicle Monday night, Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported.

Three people were reportedly rescued from flood waters near Savage Monday evening, when Howard County was under a flash flood warning.

The victims were in a van stuck in the water on Gorman Road, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported at 8:41 p.m.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., the department reported that there was flooding on Gorman Road between Freestate Drive and Foundry Street. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.

There is a flash flood warning in effect until 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
