Tractor-Trailer Overturns On I-95 At MD 216: Officials

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Multiple people were hospitalized Saturday morning after a tractor-trailer flipped on Interstate 95 near the exit for MD 216/Scaggsville Road, officials said.

The two-vehicle crash occurred after 8:15 a.m. on I-95 south, according to transportation officials. There were lane closures in effect for several hours as officials handled the scene, where individuals were injured and the tractor-trailer had to be uprighted.

By 11:45 a.m., the State Highway Administration reported that the crash had cleared.

Four people were transported for medical treatment, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
