Traffic Snarled from Water Main Break on Snowden River Parkway: DPW

COLUMBIA, MD — A broken water main is causing lane closures Wednesday afternoon in Columbia, according to Howard County government officials.

The utility break was reportedly on Snowden River Parkway at MD 108, where lane closures are expected through rush hour.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.

Lane closures are anticipated for approximately six to eight hours during the duration of the repairs, authorities said before 3 p.m.
