Two Men Shot In Columbia Saturday: Police

COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County police are investigating a nonfatal double shooting that occurred Saturday night in Columbia. Officers were called to the 5600 block of Cedar Lane at approximately 8:29 p.m. for a report that two people had been shot outside.

The victims, both men, were transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries. Detectives are looking into whether the men who were shot knew each other.
