Video Shows Police Pursuing Teen Suspects, Deploying Stop Sticks After Armed Robbery: HCPD
HCPD has shared officer-worn bodycam footage of their pursuit of 4 teen suspects wanted in an armed robbery, including using stop sticks.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — People can watch officer-worn bodycam footage from Howard County police officers as they search for and apprehend four teenagers they say committed an armed robbery at an Ellicott City tobacco shop April 13 around 8:30 p.m.
The footage shows four armed suspects wearing masks walk into the store, hold the clerk at gunpoint and steal merchandise and cash. The suspects then took off in a white pickup around 10:57 p.m. that police later learned had been reported stolen in Columbia earlier that day. As soon as officers spy the pickup, a pursuit begins around 11:02 p.m., the police department shared on Facebook.
The bodycam footage shows an officer deploying stop stick at 11:07 p.m. With the tires damaged, the pickup slows down and the four suspects jump out of the truck and run off. One suspect is taken into custody immediately while officers check the vehicle. Police canvas the neighborhood and one suspect is found at a house appearing to try and gain entry into the home. Another suspect is found hiding behind patio furniture on the home's porch, the video shows.
