Volunteers Needed To Serve On HCPSS Policy Advisory Committees, Apply By May 24

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Public School System seeks volunteers to help develop and revise school system policies as a member of the policy advisory committee.

HCPSS currently needs volunteers to serve on the following FY24-25 policy advisory committees:

• Policy 1020 Sexual Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct
• Policy 10030 Contests Sponsored by Outside Organizations

The committees will include at least one member representing the general resident stakeholder group. Members of these committees will attend three to four virtual meetings to discuss and make policy recommendations. Committee members are expected to participate in all committee meetings.

Residents interested in participating may submit a statement of interest online by May 24.
