Woman Missing From Columbia Has Been Found: Police

The woman missing since Wednesday in Columbia has been located, Howard County police say.

COLUMBIA, MD — A woman who disappeared from a behavioral health facility in Columbia has been found, according to police. Kidest Warren, 28,has been located in a neighboring jurisdiction, Howard County police reported Sunday afternoon.

Police said Warren was unharmed. Officials had been concerned about her welfare due to mental health and a need for medication.

Previous report: Police are asking for help finding a woman who walked away from a behavioral health facility this week in Columbia and has not returned. She needs medication and may be suffering from a mental health issue, according to authorities.

Kidest Warren, 28, walked to a store from the facility where she lives in the 9000 block of Route 108, police said. The behavioral health facility on Route 108 helps people transition from institutional to community living, according to officials.

Warren left on Wednesday, Oct. 25, police said, and was reported missing on Friday, Oct. 27. When last seen, she was wearing brown leggings and a brown floral shirt.

Warren is described as a black woman who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds, with a star near hear left eye and a tattoo on her right forearm that says "God's child."
