Window Shot, Rita's Break-In, Pizza Robbery: Columbia Crime

Police said there were two business burglaries, one robbery, one residence shot and one vehicle stolen in Columbia over the holiday weekend.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in Columbia. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A pizza delivery driver was robbed by four people in the 6100 block of Quiet Times at 10:30 p.m. on May 28. Nobody was injured.

A break-in was reported at Rita's in the 8600 block of Guilford Road at 9:27 a.m. on May 28. The suspect(s) got into the business through an unlocked cashier's window. Police said nothing was stolen.

A bullet broke a window at a residence in the 9400 block of Keepsake Way. Police found the damage upon responding to a report of shots fired at 12:05 a.m. on May 28. Nobody was injured.

A 2014 Honda Accord was stolen from the 10100 block of Windstream Drive at 6:37 p.m. on May 27.

There was a burglary at Love Cleaners in the 7600 block of Murray Hill Road at 5:06 a.m. on May 26. The front door was broken. Nothing was stolen.
