Woman Enters Plea In Howard Co. Home Burglaries
Shannon Gough, 43, of Severna Park faced multiple counts of first-degree burglary for incidents in Howard and Anne Arundel counties.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A Severna Park woman who pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary charges relating to incidents in Howard and Anne Arundel counties has been sentenced.
The two Howard County burglaries happened in 2025 at homes located in the 5200 block of Kerger Road on Sept. 17 and another in the 3600 block of Blue Hill Court on Sept. 10.
Shannon Gough, 43, of Severna Park, originally was charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft and destruction of property. On Sept. 26, Anne Arundel County Police and Howard County Police executed a search warrant at a home in Glen Burnie and on Gough's vehicle. Authorities confirmed that they found "several items of evidentiary value" during those searches.

Gough has been sentenced in the Howard County Circuit Court to five years in prison. She then was sentenced in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court to 15 years in prison with all but five of those years suspended. She also will have to serve five years of supervised probation after release. Anne Arundel Circuit Judge Stacy McCormack ordered Gough to pay more than $2,000 in restitution.
