Woman Fatally Hit By Vehicle In Elkridge: Howard County Police

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle while walking in the road Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:36 p.m. as a Lexus GX 460 was traveling south on Washington Boulevard just past Meadowridge Road. The driver was uninjured and remained at the scene, according to the Howard County Police Department.

On Monday, the woman was identified as Chao Li, 53, of Elkridge.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
