Zaching Against Cancer Foundation Named Official Charitable Partner of The Turn House

Howard County leaders team up to support Baltimore area families battling cancer.

COLUMBIA, MD – The Zaching Against Cancer Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that provides support, strength, inspiration and positive influences to cancer patients and their support networks, today announced that the Foundation has been selected as the official charitable partner of Howard County-based farm-to-table restaurant, The Turn House. Together, the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation and The Turn House will work to raise awareness and funds to support families battling cancer in the Baltimore area.

To show its support for the organization, and to raise awareness among patrons about the partnership, The Turn House has designated a specific menu item to dedicate to the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation, the New York Strip Steak. A portion of the proceeds from every steak ordered will be donated back to the Foundation and the item will appear on the menu with a small ‘Zaching’ silhouette next to it. The Turn House will also provide meals for parents and families of cancer patients as needed through the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation’s Little Things for Cancer program.

“Being a Howard County native and keeping with our theme in supporting and sourcing from local vendors, it was important to me to partner with and give back to a homegrown non-profit,” says Executive Chef Thomas Zippelli. “We are honored to work with the ZACF and help these local families who reside in our community.”
