3 Teens Beat, Rob Crofton Man: Police

CROFTON, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for three teenagers who beat and robbed a Crofton man Tuesday evening. The attack happened shortly after 5 p.m. in the 1600 Parkridge Circle in Crofton when a man was walking and talking on his cell phone.

Authorities say the victim was approached by three teenage boys who began to assault him. During the mugging, the suspects took the victim’s cell phone, which he had dropped to the ground.

The suspects then ran from the area on foot. Officers searched but were unable to locate the robbers. Police say the victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

Authorities describe the three suspects as about 17 years old with thin to medium builds.
