Anne Arundel County Public Schools Alter Saturday Events

Predictions for snow, sleet and freezing rain have prompted Anne Arundel County Public Schools official to cancel activities on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Friday events will go on as scheduled.

Here’s the announcement the school system issued Friday:

Due to the forecast for several inches of snow as well as sleet and freezing rain, all school-sponsored activities scheduled for Saturday, February 21, are canceled. School-sponsored activities scheduled for today, February 20, will go on as scheduled. For the status of any activity sponsored by an agency other than Anne Arundel County Public Schools, please check with that agency.
