Applications Accepted for Two Seats on School Board

From the AACPS Communications Office:

The School Board Nominating Commission of Anne Arundel County is accepting applications for two seats -- District 30 and District 31 -- that will be open as of July 1.

The positions are currently held by Solon K. Webb of Annapolis and Deborah T. Ritchie of Pasadena, respectively.

School board candidate applications will be accepted by the commission until close of business on Friday, May 8, by mail or email. Applications and detailed timeline information can be found at the commission’s website.

Candidates will also need to complete a financial disclosure form and be prepared to appear before the commission in late May at the board of education hearing room. The hearing schedule will be announced at a later date.

Applications should be submitted to School Board Nominating Commission of Anne Arundel County, 2644 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401 or electronically to sbncacc@gmail.com. All applications submitted electronically should be submitted as PDF files. Inquires should be directed to sbncacc@gmail.com.
