Axe-Throwing Shop Announces Closure

Chill Axes has announced it will be closing its Crofton location in May.

ANNE ARUNDEL CO., MD — Chill Axes, known as a premier facility for axe-throwing, will be closing up shop next month.

The company announced in a social media post that it would be permanently closing the doors to its Crofton location at 2101 Concord Blvd.

The final day for visitors is May 3.

Chill Axes has maintained its shop for five years.

"We're beyond grateful to our loyal customers, incredible staff, and to our community for supporting us on this adventure," reads a company post. "Come see us one last time."

A reason for the closure was not provided.

Until May 3, Chill Axes will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. For Sunday, doors stay open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
