Bringing Boot Camp Fitness Home
Croftonite Kimberly Allafi offers free week-long classes leading up to her fitness center's grand opening Saturday. She held classes in Davidsonville and rented space in Gambrills before opening her own business.

“People who grew up with me around Crofton Meadows know me as ‘Kimberly Enders,’” said Kimberly Allafi. She has since changed her name, but she said her mission is the same. Allafi said she has always dreamed of opening her own fitness center in the Crofton area.
Allafi is gearing up for the grand opening of Crofton Boot Camp Saturday Sept. 24. Monday through Saturday the center will offer free fitness classes. Allafi said she wants to reintroduce herself to her hometown.
“Crofton is my home. I’ve always wanted to have a business here where I grew up,” Allafiu said.

Allafi has trained people around the area for the past four years. She was in Davidsonville between 2007 and 2010. There she held classes in a private studio on a friend’s farm at the Rising Sun Stables on Route 424.
In October of 2010 Allafi moved into a space in Vuong’s Martial Arts facility on Route 3 in Gambrills. Now she has moved across the parking lot to her new home in the rear of the SJ Chadwick building.
