Former Uncle Nicky's Restaurant In Crofton Set On Fire: Authorities

CROFTON, MD — Anne Arundel County Fire officials are asking for tips from anyone with information on who may have set fire to the former Uncle Nicky's Restaurant in Crofton. The vacant building at Route 3 South and Crawford Boulevard was reported on fire about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday by multiple passers-by.

Firefighters found smoke coming from all sides of the building in the 1300 block of Route 3 South. Responders quickly located and extinguished a fire in the building's basement.

Damage is estimated at $1,000. No injuries were reported.

The Anne Arundel County Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit say the fire was intentionally set. Anyone with information, photos or video of the fire is asked to call (410) 222-TIPS.
