• Two Hate/Bias Incidents Among Calls Highlighted in MCPD Daily Crime Summary For Sept. 23 (mocoshow.com) — Montgomery County Police reported several September 23 crimes affecting the 5th District, which includes Damascus, from thefts on Olney Laytonsville Road and Frederick Road to a hate/bias incident involving a racial slur near a pool. The daily summary also details vehicle and airbag thefts, an aggravated assault, and another hate/bias incident elsewhere in the county, while noting it does not include every call for service.
