• Shuck It, Don't Chuck It: Deale Library Becomes Maryland's First Oyster Shell Recycling Library (thebaynet.com) — Deale residents can now drop off used oyster shells at the local branch library, which just became Maryland’s first library-based oyster shell recycling site. In partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the program supports future reef restoration and a cleaner Bay, and it’s being celebrated as a long-term boost for South County’s water-focused way of life.
