• Derwood Man Sentenced to 120 Years for Double Murder in Rockville, MD (news-usa.today) — A 27-year-old Derwood resident has been sentenced to 120 years in prison for the 2025 shooting deaths of two people in Rockville, following his conviction on multiple murder and firearm charges. The case, tried in Montgomery County Circuit Court, detailed a brutal attack in and around a parked BMW near a Research Court hotel, ending with the defendant’s arrest back at the hotel.
