1 Person Hospitalized After Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into Dundalk Homes
A tractor-trailer brought down a light pole and struck multiple homes in Dundalk, sending at least one person to the hospital.

DUNDALK, MD — At least one person was hospitalized late Wednesday after a tractor-trailer crashed into multiple Dundalk homes.
The Baltimore County Fire Department said the incident occurred in the 20th block of Dundalk Avenue, with crews dispatched to the scene around 5 p.m.
Authorities said the hospitalized individual suffered non-life-threatening injuries and that all residents were evacuated from the impacted homes.

Photos shared from the scene showed serious damage after the tractor-trailer veered off the roadway, bringing down a traffic light pole before coming to a stop in the front yards of multiple homes.

Officials have not indicated what may have prompted the crash.

Brian Hilton, who heard the collision, told WBAL that he had immediately run over to help the driver of the tractor-trailer.
"I ran up to the truck door, hollered for the driver, opened up the door, got him out of the truck, then crawled under the tractor-trailer and got to the front porch," Hilton said.
"I'm hollering to make sure nobody is in the house and looking in the debris, making sure there are no bodies or nothing."
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
