19-Year-Old Hit By Car In Dundalk Dies At Hospital: Police
A 19-year-old died after being hit by a car in Dundalk while crossing Wise Avenue. The car then hit a vehicle, which hit a third vehicle.
DUNDALK, MD โ A 19-year-old crossing Wise Avenue outside the crosswalk was hit by a 2011 Toyota Sunday night, the Baltimore County Police Department reports. The driver of the Toyota was traveling westbound on Wise Avenue approaching Church Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. when the driver struck Mekiah Cotten. The driver of the Toyota swerved to avoid hitting Cotten and struck a 2002 Honda, which in turn hit a 1992 Ford, the police department disclosed.
According to the Baltimore County Police Department, Cotten was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this crash. No additional details are available at this time.
