On December 29, 2021, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Baltimore County police officers responded to a burglary call in the 9300 block of Lakeside Blvd., in Owings Mills. When officers arrived, they observed a white truck backed up to an ATM machine which had chains wrapped around it. When the suspect saw police arriving at the location, the suspect 36-year-old Kirk Parker Jr., attempted to getaway on foot. Officers gave chase and arrested Parker in a wooded area near Embassy Circle, 21117.

The vehicle used in the incident was a 2019 Ford F550 registered to the City of Baltimore. The City emblem on the vehicle had been taped over as well as the front license plate. A preliminary investigation determined the truck had been reported stolen in Carroll County.
Parker has been charged with second-degree burglary, theft, malicious destruction of property and several other charges. He’s currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
