DUNDALK, MD — Criminal charges are pending against several individuals after a shooting broke out Friday afternoon in Dundalk. The Baltimore County Police Department said in a Saturday update that several people were detained in connection with a shooting that occurred on the 3500 block of McShane Way. A list of the charges filed in the case was not immediately available. Officers were first called to the scene around 3:30 p.m. on Friday for reports of a shooting. However, once on scene, officials determined that not only was a 41-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, but that a 56-year-old man had also been stabbed. Both men were hospitalized. Police described the gunshot injury as life-threatening. Investigations say there is no active threat to the community, and that the incident appears to be isolated. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is urged to contact police at (410) 887-3700
