Baltimore County Police: Essex Man Injured In Shooting

December 21, 2021

On Monday, December 20, 2021, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the Unit block of Glenwood Rd., in Essex for a reported shooting. When officers arrived they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries. As detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit continue to investigate this case, they are asking anyone who might have information about this shooting to contact them at 410-307-2020.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.
